The children were dancing around in the bathroom being silly and TJ was saying goofy things when he said, "My d*** daddy."
I turned to him and scolded, "What did you say?!"
"Oh mommy," he innocently responded, "I didn't say dumb!"
This is were I hope to collect some of the crazy and precious things that my children say, some of the fun experiences that we've shared, and the surprises of this beautiful Creation that cross our path along the way.

August Garden
- One of my new loves is the sound of the wind blowing through mature cornstalks. I realized today that I've never heard that before. Didn't think you could be 40 and experience something new. So blessed that I heard it.
- TJ, "Look Morgan, that sunflower is ginormous!" (It is about 3 feet tall.)
- Driving home with the full moon the other night Shelby exclaimed, "The moon! The moon! He has strong muscles!! Daddy has strong muscles!"
- Today we were being quiet and TJ turned to me and asked, "Mommy, when you die, do you forget what you were going to say?"
- I never knew that Butternut Squash could be so beautiful, and delightful!
- Love my cabbage, though I think I'll have to be really hungry to eat them. Lots of aphids this year. A little soap and water has done them a lot of good, but I washed them. I remember how many bugs were on them. In the meantime, they are just plain beautiful!
